Mary J's Story
Mary J is from Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. Mary J's schools include Lamar High School. Mary J later attended K State. First I went to Southwestern in Georgetown, TX but my dad was transferred to Ft.Riley and when I went home at Christmas he gave me a chestnut mare so the next year I transferred to K State for 2 more years and my dad retired so my parents decided to go to PA where dad was from and he knew many "horsy" people. They bought a farm and I finished at the U of Delaware. I had lived many places...Germany before TX and there were some nice people and then some not so nice in PA. pset by the fact that the French wouldn't like me BUT they could not have been nicer. I like to go by myself. I kept the farm because when my dad died my mother couldn't drive a car and I knew she wanted to keep it so I learned to manage things and work...teaching and painting. It was so hard to find a good doctor and I was a passenger in an accident and the doctor who let me out of the hospital helped me find someone good for my mother so I invited him to dinner with some other friends and he took one look at the farm and said he would be out Sat. because it reminded him of the farm where he grew up so I can now plow myself out in the winter with the big tractor. He had a stroke last year so I'm taking care of things and I have met some really nice businesses that have been honest.
